I always enjoy photographic this beautiful family. They never disappoint to bring the energy and the laughter. Its always nice seeing repeat customers and seeing the kids grow up through the years. Here are some of my favorite images from our session and I seem to be on a color kick on my editing and this post of the Dudleston Family Portrait Photographer Coto De Caza shows off some of the edits. I added color on purpose since the background and location had a lot of withered leaves and grass.
I like the results of this editing which provides a slightly warm look without overdoing the “warm” look. Plus the subtle purplish tint on the image which I personally think is a good mix.
This image is a tad too orange for my taste so I will need to tone it down in the future.
As mentioned, to limit the withered leaves and background I added a tint of color to offset the sand and the brushes in the background.
This added a bump of green to bring out any healthy leaves in the background. Even though this location was covered from above with taller trees, there was enough light reflecting off of the sand to bring in enough light to the subject.
